Deposit Information and Cancelation
The $325 (275 Euros) deposit is non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel, you may transfer your $325 (275 Euros) deposit once, for no charge, to a future available course as long as you cancel 4 weeks before the course start date. If you need to cancel a second time, there’s a $50 fee to move your reservation. If a cancelation is made within 4 weeks of the course start date, there is a chance that the deposit will be forfeited. Discounted courses are only valid for the course you received the discount for. If you transfer to another course month, the discount will not transfer. We sometimes make exceptions for this, so please contact us in advance to check if your discount will be valid on a switched month.
Travel Cancelations Due to Coronavirus
With new travel restrictions, The Language House TEFL is going to be extremely flexible with moving dates to different course months. We have innacted a zero penalty course transfer policy to help with all of our students who need to change their course date and take a future class with us. While The Language House TEFL is not responsible for airfair fees and course cancelations due to travel restrictions, we will allow all of our students to take a future course with us at no extra charge. Students can move their deposits and course fee payments at any time and to any course. We want our students to have this experience and will do whatever we can to be flexible with their needs. From March 15, 2020, we are offering a discount of $150 off any of our future courses for being flexible with start dates. While we cannot guarantee that a specific course date will run, we are happy to offer this discount to our future students for being flexible with their start dates.
Course Tuition Payment and Cancelation
Your course balance ($1200) is due no later than 4 weeks before the course start date in order to continue your reservation. Many of our courses are discounted for students who secure their spots early and this discount will reflect on the final balance. We will send this final balance to you about 8 weeks before the start of the course. If you feel a discount was not added correctly, please contact us before making the payment. We are very flexible with people making payments and we do understand that sometimes payments can be late. However, if the final course balance is not paid 3 weeks before the start date, there is a 5% late fee to the balance.
If you cancel at least 3 weeks before the course start date you can receive a refund on your balance (minus the $325 deposit).
If you cancel less than 3 weeks before the course, there is no refund, but you may transfer your tuition for a $150 fee to one of the courses taking place between February and May. Obviously, if we have vacancies in the month of your choice, we will put you on that month.
The Language House TEFL (TEFL Language S.R.O.) is not responsible for course cancelations related to governmental suspensions of business operations or travel bans. We will, however, allow all fees for cancelled courses to be credited to a future available courses.
